Unfortunately no dogs/children/ infants are allowed as we are a working sheep farm & surrounded by water. Our Bothy is a beautifully restored one-bedroom cosy and welcoming retreat in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an acre of meadow and hills. Full of original character, it is an immaculate, fully equipped and comfortable base for relaxing, walking and exploring scenic Dumfries and Galloway.

This beautifully positioned house sits within its own extensive and well-maintained wildlife garden and provides spacious accommodation for up to 8 people. The peaceful garden with riverside strolls beside Shinnel Water is shared with the owner who lives in an adjacent cottage. Big windows make for bright rooms and look out onto large expanses of lawn, a pond and small river (both unfenced). NOTE – The garden is not enclosed and has an UNFENCED pond and river. Small children must be supervised.

Prince’s Cottage is the old Shepard’s house and was originally made for the Prince Family. A 3 bedroom cottage that has been renovated and has the most amazing views. It is nestled just off the dead-end road that goes up the glen. It has its own little garden which is great for a dog to run around, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need to make a feast after a day outside and when you are done you can sit by the log burner to play games at the end of the day.

Our chalet is in our large, well managed garden. While it is near our house and we are happy to chat, we always respect peoples privacy. This is a very peaceful place where you can sit outside and watch the flames of the fire pit at night or stay in and have a cosy evening.
