A working farm in the Eden Valley with beautiful views over the river Lowther and overlooking woodland rich in wildlife, including red squirrels and deer. Given its peaceful situation, it is surprisingly only a 5 minute drive from major transport routes (north/ south/ east/ west) and Penrith Station. Only 5 miles to Ullswater and the lakes. Barn conversion includes bedroom with private terrace, bathroom (shower and bath), large sitting/ breakfast room. Well behaved dogs welcome on request (2 maximum - extra charge of £10 dog/night). HerdyView Lodge is situated in a peaceful location, overlooking rolling hills surrounded by nature on the edge of the Lake District National Park. It is a cosy, modern 3 bedroom chalet with a log burner. Situated close to the market town of Penrith and Lake Ullswater it is in a perfect location for exploring the Lake District and the Eden Valley. Away from the tourist crowds but also within easy access to hotspots and amenities. There are attractions in the local area for all ages and interests.

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!
