The Perfect Stop

A working farm in the Eden Valley with beautiful views over the river Lowther and overlooking woodland rich in wildlife, including red squirrels and deer. Given its peaceful situation, it is surprisingly only a 5 minute drive from major transport routes (north/ south/ east/ west) and Penrith Station. Only 5 miles to Ullswater and the lakes. Barn conversion includes bedroom with private terrace, bathroom (shower and bath), large sitting/ breakfast room. Well behaved dogs welcome on request (2 maximum - extra charge of £10 dog/night). This lovely and characterful two-bedroom,apartment is located on a historic pedestrian lane right in the centre of Penrith, where it is surrounded by shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés and places of interest. It is on the first and second floors of a 250 year old building and has a double bedroom, a single bedroom, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room, and a small private-use courtyard. It has a unique charm with wood beams and wonky walls, ceilings and floors, all of which add to its character.
