Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Blue Goose is located at the historic Babich-Bailey Netshed, within easy walking distance of all Gig Harbor has to offer. Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Complete with two en suite staterooms, a cozy living room, and a view of sunsets and Mount Rainier! Please read the "Guest access" section for property use restrictions. Through our gated grounds you’ll find our beautiful cabana. It’s a little taste of heaven on earth. It’s hidden within our residential property. You’ll have the whole waterfront to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, small sofa bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. Neighbors are not close. The shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom, private but not heated.

Waterfront Cabin on the Sound

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.

Trails through the forest for hiking. Mountain bike trails at Dockton Pk..Your pet is welcome, leashed, with an additional pet fee.

Your journey to serenity is a lovely 5-to-8-minute walk down a historic hillside to the secluded community of Sunrise Beach. Walking down the private driveway you may see a family of deer on your left when you pass the Historical Marker. As you walk past the houses and cabins on the waterfront, you might be reminded of Silverstein’s charming “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” The reward for your journey will be the treasure waiting for you at “the prettiest cottage on the beach.”
