It's a space designed to inspire, and to revitalize your mind, body and spirit - A place where you can chop wood, take a walk, light a fire, sit and relax under the stars, or enjoy a hot tub, cold plunge, or Finnish-style handmade sauna - We welcome you to The Little Black Cabin.

With breathtaking views from the 20+ windows, a hot tub, a fire pit, river access and a comfy living space, this charming cabin is the perfect private getaway for a couple, family or group of friends. Come enjoy Rustic Rest, a four-season Pocono Mountains retreat. Built in 1939, this cabin features log construction in a peaceful wooded setting along a trout stream with a variety of recreational opportunities nearby. Perfect for couples and for families, we have a fully stocked and uniquely furnished home. Pets are welcome. Although remote in feel, we are on Marshalls Creek Rd and centrally located to East Stroudsburg, Jim Thorpe, Camelback, Shawnee, Delaware Water Gap and most attractions.

Just 90 minutes from NYC, this is a truly sublime atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a rejuvenating and inspiring getaway.

In the evenings enjoy river sunsets or enjoy our Finnish sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the river. In fall and winter enjoy the many local hiking trails or ski-hills. *Winter bookings must have 4 Wheel or AWD Vehicle. This one-of-a-kind cabin borders the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Hike right behind the cabin, through the woods, to Dingmans Creek. A short hike upstream leads to George W. Childs Park with 3 tumbling waterfalls, a rustic trail system, and observation decks. A longer hike downstream will bring you to Dingmans Falls. DWGNRA offers swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, canoeing, and kayaking, all within minutes of the cabin.
