Rustic, cozy timber cabin renovated with reclaimed barn wood located on 30+ private, horse friendly acres a short distance from the St. Croix River & Town of Danbury with private pasture & gravel pit plus Gandy Dancer trail access for ATV’s, dirt bikes, snowmobiles & horseback riding. Full kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances & charcoal grill. Added warmth with the wood burning stove or enjoy the Adirondack chairs around the boulder fire pit. Cozy loft above living area.

It's walking distance to the Shops on Main St, Restaurants, Movie Theater, Mini-Golf, Crooked Lake Park & Beach. We're a short drive from the Twin Cities, Duluth & Eau Claire. The cabin has been completely renovated while keeping the original historic craftsmanship.

About halfway between Duluth and Minneapolis, 7 miles west of I-35. Please inquire if you have a slightly larger group, we may be able to accommodate! An additional fee of $30/guest per night over 6 applies. Please note that per county regulations, only registered guests are allowed on the property. Other fun places & activities nearby: Osprey Wilds, Kettle River, Banning State Park, Grand Casino, Munger Trail (biking and snowmobiling). Lots of space for your boat &/or snowmobile trailer!

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

Only an hour north of the Twin Cities and 15 minutes from casinos, gaming, hiking and concerts, you can enjoy great fishing, bird watching and view gorgeous sunsets from your riverfront dock. Amenities include a modern kitchen, indoor/outdoor dining areas, grill, fire pit, kayaks, inflatable water toys, sauna and more. If you need a break from the city, need to relax or if you just want to have fun... this is for you!

The whole group will be comfy in this spacious and unique spot in the pines. The overhead door is the only “garage” thing about it! There are plenty of activities in the area, or stay right on our nearly 15 acres of forested land to relax and walk or ride our trails through the trees. We’ve added a screen for the garage door opening. Now you can roll up the garage door to feel like you’re outside! The screen cords have been damaged so it will no longer retract, but works great down!

Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!
