We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Trailside Cabin In Perfect Location!

Trailside cabin with lots of opportunity! Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Swimming, and ATV/Snowmobile trail runs right through property. Moosehead Lake, Greenville, The Forks, Bingham, The Windmills all close by. The Appalachian Trail borders the property. Hike Borestone Mtn, Barren Mtn, Big Squaw, or the AT. Town beach is also close by for swimming in Lake Hebron. Park your truck and ride your ATV/Snowmobile to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, lakes, and mountains.

Maine Lodge & Cabin getaway

Muk-Bog Lodge is settled on 30 acres of Maine woods and surrounded by more than 100 acres of preserved Maine woodlands. Located on a private drive several hundred yards from the main roadway, this Lodge offers you privacy while still being within 10 minutes of downtown Milo. The Lodge also offers a 30x40 garage for storage or parking while renting. There is also a 12x14 mudroom at the entrance for more storage and a open 12x12 back deck overlooking the firepit and back lawn area.

Upta Camp

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located on Ambajejus Lake, we are only 8 miles outside of Millinocket and about 15 to Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo.

Moose Mountain Lodge - Vacation with Nature

Living within nature. Moose Mountain Lodge is tucked away in the woods on a sunny lot with great views where wildlife sightings far exceed the occasional car that may pass by on the road. It is not uncommon to wake up to 5-10 deer in the back yard or a moose walking down the road. Our cabins have a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer. Each cabin has a fireplace which only burn Duralogs or clean burn logs except for Cabin 8 which has a propane fireplace. You will love the Cedar Log Cabins, the atmosphere and the surroundings. Some of our cabins have one bathroom only and we also have townhouse cabins. We will notify you of type of availability when you reserve.
