The Red Cabin-Secluded Getaway with backyard Brook

Welcome to our secluded mid-century cabin nestled in the foothills of the Berkshires in Northwestern CT! When you stay here you'll find over three private acres of ferns, forests, wild flowers and a native trout brook a stone's throw from the backdoor with your private hot tub to relax in. Beyond the brook are hundreds of acres of state forest preserve. Enjoy great hiking, fishing, skiing, antiques and restaurants minutes away. Only 2 hours from NYC and 8 minutes to Historic Norfolk Center.

The Old Canal House at Halfmoon

Located in a 200-year old historic brick house, the guest apartment is fully furnished and all windows face the Mohawk River and a scenic walk path. Nearby Kayak rental is available. We are located a few minutes’ drive from The Klam'er Tavern and Marina and about 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Albany, where art performances, concerts and dining experiences await you. At all times, you can enjoy the view on the river from your own private patio or the warmth of the fire pit in the yard.

Our happy place is a 5 minute walk to Berkshire East/Thunder Mountain . An 8 minute walk to the Deerfield River for guided fishing tours with Hilltown Anglers, kayaks, ,whitewater rafting. 10 minute walk to town and shuttle for tubing. A 5 minute drive to local wedding venues. We provide a full kitchen with all cooking essentials, a private picnic area with charcoal grill (charcoal provided). We reside at the single family home on property and we’re excited to share our Suite 23 !

Sunny Riverside Apartment

The Berkshires are a perfect spot for a getaway week or weekend. You will enjoy this cozy 2-story apartment, easily accessible to all that the region has to offer. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, living area, and two bedrooms, overlooking the Housatonic River. Every town in South County is 5-15 minutes drive, and in 50 minutes you could be at The Clark Museum or Mass MOCA in North County. Several ski areas are nearby, and Kripalu is just an easy 10 minute drive.

Hudson River Beach House

Explore all the activities the Hudson Valley has to offer and then relax in a room full of windows overlooking the Hudson River. Make a meal in the full kitchen or hang out by the beach, build a fire, play lawn games, read a book or float in the river. For you early risers, the sunrises are spectacular. This 1860 river house is 1/2 mile from the charming Village of Coxsackie NY and a central location to many great destinations such as Hudson, Woodstock, Athens, and Catskill.

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage; views/wildlife

Fully furnished and remodeled with new upgrades in Spring 2025 including a cathedral master bedroom suite with a full bath. Our private cottage is set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. Sleeps 6. Ther are two full and one 1/2 baths.

Blue Cabin is a cozy, design-forward retreat between the Capital Region and the Berkshires. Enjoy vaulted wood ceilings, a forest-green kitchen, and a spa-style bath. Outside, unwind in the covered lounge with U-shaped sectional, charcoal grill, and TV—or explore the backyard, where a creek runs through and a seasonal flower garden blooms. Peaceful, private, and perfectly located for both rest and adventure.

Winter retreat with scenic views in the Berkshires

The Beaver Dam is a sunlight-filled & recently renovated cabin tucked in the woods, overlooking the October Mountain State Park and steps away from Basin Pond. We are located close to a number of excellent ski slopes. Our cottage is the last house on a private road and right next to protected forest. You can't ask for more privacy, peace and quiet than you'll find at our little piece of paradise on the pond!

The Sail Loft

Cozy, private house from 1850, located in the heart of the Berkshires. In a quiet neighborhood across from a pond, the cottage has access to the Ashuwillticook rail trail. Relax on the private back porch, or in the large bath tub. Sleep in late in the king sized bed, and then enjoy what the Berkshires has to offer. Close to several downhill and cross country ski spots, hiking trails and Tanglewood!

Owl's Nest (Rip's Retreat)

Privately nested single-story on a sloping riverfront view. Preserved charms of a mid-century modern design. Spacious, cozy, scenic, and rustic. Large fireplace. Screened in porch. 5 minute drive to Hudson. Co-host lives in the basement level of the house, accessed by a separate entrance, and may access that area during your stay.
