Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are only 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. Kitchen set up with dishes, silverware, fully stocked coffee bar, filter water pitcher, shower bucket and most everything else. Compost toilet and foot pump sink. Small wood stove for when it's cold and a fan for when it's hot with battery to charge extras.

We have an array of barnyard critters including but not limited to longhorns, turkeys, roosters, goats, cats, a lamb, some chickens and a couple barking lazy dogs. No pets please, for the health & safety of our livestock.

We invite you to stay at Hidden Ridge, a private wooded hideaway located at Otter Lake, Girard, Illinois, for an authentic camping experience. A 14 x 16 wall tent with a queen size bed and separate bathroom facility with an area for outdoor cooking is provided. There is plenty of space for additional tents, cots or air mattresses.
