In summer the balcony is a favorite place for breakfast, watching numerous native birds. Within a few minutes drive you will reach the center of Geelong, Deakin Uni, and the 3 major hospitals of Geelong. It's an easy drive to beautiful beaches, including the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy beach days in this gorgeous little shack, walking distance to the river and everything else Ocean Grove has to offer. Rivershak is the ‘Rose’ amongst the thorns, standing out in its surrounds.Whilst we are in a complex of other shacks, we are the only one completely renovated. Don’t be deterred! Rivershak is is independently owned and so cute. Pet friendly is key here. The rear yard is secure, a beautiful grassy patch and lots of shelter for your fur baby.

Our place is close to public transport, parks, and art and culture and beaches. You’ll love our place because of the tranquility, the garden, the level of comfort. We try in many ways to live as sustainably as possible. We grow some of our food and have recently added bees to our efforts to pollinate our fruit and vegetables. What the dog doesn't eat and the chickens do not devour goes into the compost centre and back on to the garden.
