Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Wake to birdsong and filtered light through the towering trees, enjoy coffee or wine outdoors on the deck, grill dinner and gather by the fire pit as stars appear through the forest canopy. A simple, thoughtfully designed base for exploring the port towns and the Olympic Peninsula — or doing nothing at all. That's how we planned it. Small pets welcome. Historic Discovery Bay Beach Cabin Stunning Views

Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Log Castle - on the beach

Built with logs harvested from family property, the Log Castle is warm, welcoming for your family and friends. Its eclectic design, stunning water views, and beachfront location make it an ideal home base for your vacation. Enjoy the wide sandbar, 2 small kids kayaks and 2 adult kayaks for paddling, a swimming raft, low-populated beach, and hiking trails across the road. The newly-renovated kitchen has a 180 degree water view. The large fireplace makes for a comfortable and cozy retreat.

Spacious retreat, gateway to the Olympic peninsula

Bring or rent a kayak or paddleboard: explore Hood head, Squamish harbor, or Gamble bay. Close to the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above, watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a spacious ground floor retreat. Convenient access to Seattle via Kingston or Bainbridge ferries, including the fast ferry from Kingston. Nicely located at the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula, with proximity to the Olympic Peninsula. Downtown Poulsbo is under 15 minutes away. Located just over a mile south of the iconic Hood Canal floating bridge.
