Experience healing and peace with the sound of gentle waves on Discovery Bay. Our cabin was built in 1939 by our grandfather who was an early businessman in Port Townsend. He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a spacious ground floor retreat. Mature cedar, fir, spruce, and big leaf maple trees abound, a year-round creek runs through the property, and a wonderful beach awaits you with habitat that boasts nesting eagles, osprey, otters, raccoons, opossums, and a myriad of waterfowl, songbirds, and hummingbirds. Two single kayaks are available for your enjoyment! Enjoy oysters?...gather them right off the beach!

The Secret Cabin is on beautiful Whidbey Island just 5 minutes off the ferry and 3 miles from the seaside city of Langley. Set on almost 10 private acres with a pond, walking trails , fire pit, outdoor eating , BBQ and 2 Bikes to ride anywhere local you’d like. Wake up, enjoy your coffee on one of the two porches overlooking the sunrise or the evergreens. I’ll provide coffee, creamer and a few breakfast items to tide you over.
