Hunting Island State Park's sandy beaches, nature tails, and lighthouse tours are a scenic 40 minute drive away. You can swim, fish, kayak or go boating right from the dock in our own back yard. The "Love Shack" is in Statesboro, Georgia, home of the Georgia Southern Eagles and is the guests Bunkhouse on Freeman Farm. Freeman Farm is a 300-acre weekend retreat located between a half mile stretch of the Ogeechee River and Pondgeechee Pond, a 32-acre lake. The newly renovated "Love Shack" while rustic still has the comforts of home; with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of places to sit and relax, lots of outdoor space to roam, soft beds, and we even have wifi.
