Relax and recharge in our bright two bedroom holiday home in Porthmadog with breathtaking sea, estuary and Mountain Views! Perfectly located just a short walk from the town centre, harbour, beaches and the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland steam railways. Snowdonia National Park is only 10 minutes away and the beautiful Italian-style village of Portmeirion is close by. Enjoy stunning views from the balcony out towards Harlech castle and the mountains. A great base to explore North Wales.

Ffermdy Bach, close to Borth y Gest's coastal path

Ffermdy Bach is a self contained cottage adjoining our Welsh farmhouse. It has a separate entrance and garden so you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed. You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. Set in a Grade 11 listed building some 150 years old, it offers old world charm yet, modern facilities for your comfort. Private parking outside the property, tastefully furnished, well equipped, central heating. Outside patio area. Cosy for 4, ideal for 3 persons. Weekly lets are from Friday -Friday. You won't want to leave !

Facilities at the house are based on a couple sharing but there are bunks which can be made up. Balcony overlooks the Dwyryd Estuary and Ffestiniog railway. Porthmadog - something for everyone - mountain walks, seaside, shopping or a base for the Lleyn Peninsula.

Llanw is a newly built house right opposite the water's edge. Llanw is Welsh for "Tide" which you can watch slowly flowing in and ebbing out. The estuary is a haven for many species of birds. There are also views of the Snowdonia mountain range and of the Rivals. The World Heritage site of Caernarfon is only 4 miles away and the long sandy beach of Dinas Dinlle is 3 miles away.
