Cedar Lodge is a chalet cabin lookout on the North summit of Forest Park. Privately located in a wilderness sanctuary only 15 minutes by car to PDX city center & 10 minutes to Linnton, Bethany, Hillsboro and St Johns. Arrive & unwind in an elevated private spa overlooking a forested canyon. Relax with a campfire under stars & towering 300 year old Doug Firs while serenaded with world famous Pacific chorus tree frogs. The loft, with vaulted ceilings and beautiful tile and woodwork throughout, is settled behind the main house, and includes a comfortable king bed, modern decor, fold down couch, well functioning kitchen, and access to hot tub. Kenton has great food, retail shops, and bars two blocks away, and guests are a short MAX train ride to Downtown. LGBTQ+ and rec. marijuana friendly. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.
