The Cook's Quarters is part of Camus House, built in 1685 on the site of Saint Comgall's Monastery, over looking the famous "Ford of Camus" on the River Bann. Town centre shops, restaurants, bars and museum are nearby and the beach, ferry terminal and tourist office are a few minutes' walk away. Because of its town centre location the apartment windows are double-glazed. However, traffic noise during the day and revelry noise at weekends is to be expected, until the pubs close at about 1am.
