Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

You can use the pool, bbq and all veranda areas. The owners live in the main house. Be amazed by the nature areas and the river stream, all within our private land. It is a perfect place to rest and recharge. Our house is also within 7 miles from the beach. Shops, restaurants and other amenities can be found within a mile.

Escape to our enchanting 19th-century stone watermill located in 5 acres of nature, nestled in the valley at the foot of the Serra da Lousa in the peaceful village of Foz de Arouce. Relax on your own little island overlooking the river, or walk down to the beach for a swim or to experience paddle boarding, fishing or swim in the crystal clear waters and watch the bright stars in the night skies. Perfect location for hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing, relaxation.

Stay in a newly renovated stone farm house built in 1888 on top of an ancient Roman road. Small cosy apartment off the beaten track, ideal for quiet retreats and getaways to focus on writing or creative projects. La "Casa Rio est située dans l'entité de Penacova. la maison se trouve au bord du lac mondego. celle-ci peut accueillir maximum 4 personnes, dans un cadre agréable et calme. elle est composée d'un salon, une cuisine, deux chambres avec lits doubles et une salle de bain. le stationnement est gratuit et facile devant la maison. Un jardin avec transat, table de jardin et dès à présent disponible pour les hôtes.

Encontrará na Casinha do Rio um espaço acolhedor com todas as comodidades necessárias à uma estadia relaxante sem preocupações. Toda a sua estadia será acompanhada pelo som melancólico do rio e pela presença imponente da cascata que se localiza mesmo à frente do edifício. A casa está inserida numa zona pouco movimentada, apesar de se localizar a poucos metros do centro da vila de Miranda do Corvo.
