The Byre is a tranquil cottage ideally positioned to enjoy all Mid-Wales has to offer. Perfect for visitors wanting a peaceful break or an adventure. Dogs are welcome too! Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Nestled in the Welsh countryside, just into the Cambrian Mountains, it enjoys the splendour of nature and peaceful calm of times past. The accommodation is full of character and original charm, while maintaining the modern comforts of home. With its own garden, this former shepherd's cottage is surrounded by rugged hills and an unspoilt rural landscape at the very end of a single-track road.

Plas Y Cadno Grain Silo

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Nestled on a working farm in the Heart of Wales. A meticulously restored grain silo full of character and unique features; a study in using, re-using & recycling wood metal and functional parts. Seamlessly blending agricultural, industrial, & steam-punk; and warmed throughout with classical features and local salvaged hardwoods. Due to the design of the silo and its unique features it's more suited to adult guests only.

Gothic Victorian Gate House & Hot Tub Welshpool

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Freesat T.V and Wifi If you wish to stay connected to the outside world or peace and quiet if not.

It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a log burner and QLED TV. Super fast fibre broadband throughout.

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the peacefulness of been able to have the freedom to walk and explore our hills of mid wales, straight from your door..and only 45 mins to visit the seaside of Aberystwth.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).

The chalet is located on the same site as the main house and has stunning views out across the Banwy valley. It is centrally located within easy reach of Dolgellau, Machynlleth and Welshpool where guests can participate in a wide range of activities from hillwalking to mountain biking. We are dog friendly but do have dogs on site so only friendly, well behaved ones please.
