Closer to home is The Globe, an old converted chapel turned Restaurant. The house is very cosy yet modern with an open plan ground floor with kitchen whilst the upstairs bedroom has a kingsize bed & a large walk in shower in the bathroom. At the back of the property there is access for bike storage.

Just three minutes walk from the centre of town, this well-appointed townhouse is ideal for the weekend break, a walking holiday in the Black Mountains, or just a relaxed stay. Brecon has lots to offer- independent shops, pubs and restaurants, historic cinema, Theatre & Canal. The property provides an ideal base for walking in the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains and is centrally placed for exploring all the surrounding area. Close to Shrewsbury, Ludlow and numerous National Trust properties. Colomendy retains virtually all of its original features which includes exposed oak floorboards throughout the property which are uneven in places.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals and the garden provides a lovely place to relax with your beverage of choice. We love this space and are happy to share it when we are away.

Modern house located 1 mile from town centre in a quiet rural hamlet. Next to canal path & River Severn. Parking available. Wifi, TV and use of kitchen if required. Host has good knowledge of local area. I usually live in this house when not on AirB&B, therefore this is my home too. Please note if you want a hotel style house/room consider using the Elephant and Castle in Newtown.
