The Red Door - 1 Bedroom Studio and Bfst

The Red Door has been freshly renovated to provide a relaxing, comfortable and private space. A fully self contained guest suite at the rear of my Victorian Cottage which is situated on the beautiful Levan River. It is only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the town and wharf precinct. A homely breakfast is prepared for you to enjoy in the dining room. Off street parking provided. Only a twenty minute pleasant drive from The Spirit of Tasmania and just over an hour from Cradle Mountain.

Situated in Penguin Tasmania a coastal town right in the heart of the north-west coast with easy access to Burnie Devonport Ulverstone and approx. 1 hour from Cradle Mountain. We are only 15mins from Burnie where from Oct-Mar daily Penguin Tours are availabe. This is a free interactive tour with a guide and you get to observe Penguins in their natural habitat. Strawberry Farm and Anvers Chocolate Factory (yum) are close by.

Penguin is located between Burnie and Devonport on the Northwest coast of Tasmania.

Close to beach, river etc. Base for commuting to Cradle Mountain, Stanley and the many other attractions on the North West and West Coast. Twenty minutes to the Spirit of Tas Ferry and regional airports. There is ample off-street parking. Tariff includes breakfast provisions and a well equipped sideboard kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. A 10 min walk to the CBD, beachside restaurants and foreshore BBQ area. A 7 min drive to the hospital and university campus. Well located for daytrips in the region. Also a great space for laptop work (WiFi and Smart TV). Laundry by request.
