My tiny space is not a stand alone building. It’s a converted apartment with the idea of turning dreary into stunning. Water views and two minutes to the bus stop. Walking distance to town. This craftsman style suite will have you feeling as if you were aboard a ship, sleeping in a comfy bed, looking up at the beautiful handcrafted wooden ceiling sourced from local red and yellow cedar. Local woods are showcased throughout the home. With beach access across the street at Rotary Beach (AKA "Bugge's Beach" to locals) and a beautiful walking path, you have plenty of activities to fill your time. And if it happens to be a rainy day, you have a covered porch to enjoy the ocean air!

Watch harbor seals fight over salmon, grab a beer at a nearby pub, fish off the bridge, shop at surrounding boutiques, stroll the pier of Creek Street, visit the TONGASS museum, or just relax on your private covered balcony over the rushing salmon filled creek. Lighthouse Inn Apartment: Luxurious; Private

It all started with a trailer on a beautiful wooded, waterfront lot. Then a wind storm blew through, breaking the tops of several large trees causing them to land on our trailer. It took weeks to remove the trees and debris. It was then, we decided to move forward with our dream home. Moving the trailer to the trailer park, we then began preparing our lot and building our new home. Three years later it would become our dream, to share with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

You will experience the real Salt Chuck life by seeing the tide change every six hours - creating a constant change of scenery and wildlife.
