Gateway to the ultimate Far North NZ. Our property is perfectly situated to be within walking distance of local amenities including convenience & liquor stores, restaurants, bars, children's playground, fishing club and wharves/boat ramps. Our location lends itself to multiple day trip options to explore, or some peaceful rest and relaxation in our private hideaway set on acreage. NOTE: There are natural ponds on the property as well as an electric fence that will require adult supervision.

Opononi Oasis

The Opononi Oasis is a newly renovated 2-bedroom holiday home. Facing north you will have uninterrupted views of the Hokianga Harbour and sand dunes. Suitable for up to 4 people with two queen beds. Linen and towels are provided and fibre has just been installed. It is a place to completely unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle and enjoy all that Northland has to offer. This home has been in the family for 26 years and is to be enjoyed and respected. No pets allowed.

Enjoy a wonderful getaway to the Far North in this modern new build (completed 2023) in Pukenui. Situated on two and a half acres at the end of a private lane, this home is a 60 minute drive to Cape Reinga and a convenient 2 minute drive to the local market (4 Square), Houhora Game Fishing club and the famous Honeybees - serving the best pies and fruit ice creams in the Far North. Headed to 90 mile beach? You're just 10 minutes away from the west coast.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.
