We are also in close proximity to Mill Springs Battlefield, Haney’s Appledale Farm, Bear Wallow Farm, and much more. Our spacious parking area is also big enough for boat parking. Fishing Creek Cottage overlooks Fishing Creek, a popular recreational area on Lake Cumberland and a major arm of the lake. Pulaski County Park and its beach and boat ramp can be seen across the lake. Boaters frequent the area to ski & tube, but are distant enough that noise isn't an issue. We are the last house at the end of a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, & so have relative privacy. The large deck and impressive view are frequently referenced in our guests' reviews.

Cabin was built by my grandparents about 40 years ago using timber cut from the land. Cabin is about 5 miles from town but feels country. Road is quite, with just local traffic, local being the people that live on the road. Very quite setting. Great place to relax where ever you find yourself, wither it is in the house, on one of the porches, or in the yard. House also has a fire pit in the back yard, & a charcoal gill if you want to grill out. We are pet friendly!

Surrounded by woods on a graveled farm road, the Hill House features two bedrooms with queen size beds and a futon couch as well. We have Wi-Fi and a new 65” smart tv. Outdoor entertaining is a priority, and we have a screened in porch, an adjacent fire pit, and a large open carport with grill.
