Peace and tranquility await you at the end of this private road surrounded by forest. My home is a log cabin with a private apartment on the lower level, which includes a patio as well as use of other outdoor spaces. There is a fire pit just past your patio and a short path will put you on the Appalachian Trail. As an herbalist and ethnobotanist, plants are my love and my livelihood. They are an integral part of my life and my home. I welcome you to stroll through the many gardens and paths.

Just a 7 minute walk to and from the Metro North train. Within walking distance to everything: shopping, Fine or Casual dining, our Hudson River dock, hiking trails (Breakneck Ridge and others), even a supermarket, drug store, and post office! Off street parking for 1 automobile, and free on street parking Mondays through Thursdays.

Our guests stay on the SECOND floor of the barn in a 1200 Sq Ft, fully reno'd apt that sleeps 6. Located about 1 hour from NYC you will find peace and serenity in the middle of nature on this 4 acre estate (that also contains our main home) where you can get away from it all. unwind this way or visit local attractions like Thunder Ridge Ski Mountain, snowshoe/ X Country skiing, hike/bike/running trails, restaurants and local cafe's. Great oasis to kick back and spend time with family.

BEFORE YOU BOOK - 200 year old house - hosts live upstairs and there is another guest apartment. You WILL NOTICE sounds from others. QUIET HOURS from 10 PM to 8 AM. This home has its own entrance and private courtyard and is attached to the owners main residence. Space is curated with antiques and is intended for a couple. This is cozy any time of the year. This home is near trailheads of spectacular hikes in the Hudson Highlands and at the base of Bull Hill.
