Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

The Art Garden guest cottage is a quiet sanctuary nestled in a beautiful part of Burton, on Vashon—an intimate quiet place to enjoy the tranquility of the woods. There is a fabulous view of Quartermaster Harbor from the cottage. Enjoy the comfort of a high-end Queen-sized bed and fine linens. Coffee and tea are provided to start your day then the promise of island adventure awaits. Perfect for a romantic getaway, writer's retreat, or a place to rejuvenate. The small is small but cozy. .

The Creamery

Nestled between the barn and the milking parlor is The Creamery; a relaxing spot to spend a few days far from the rigors of the city. Here we made Dinah's Cheese for years, and now you can enjoy the sunrise from the comfort of your plush bed, warmed by the thick down comforter. The French Limousin cows may come up to your bedroom window, curious as to who is sharing the pastures this morning. The quiet will be startling, with little noise but coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Tall Clover Farm welcomes you to Little Gemma cabin -- a little slice of heaven on Vashon Island. Cozy, charming, well-appointed, and light-filled, Little Gemma embodies all you need to slow down, relax, and enjoy the rural feel and natural beauty of Vashon. Nestled in a cove of assorted vines, Vine Cottage is a charming tiny cottage located in peaceful and sunny Dockton. A five minute walk to Dockton Forest trails and 3 minute drive to Dockton Park with public access to the beach and dock, you can easily enjoy the natural beauty Vashon has to offer. Only five miles from the Pt. Robinson Lighthouse and the Dambo Troll sculpture, Oscar the Bird King.

* The cabin is close to the park, hiking trails, boat launch boat and bike rentals. You’ll love my place because of the views, being right on the private beach and the quiet peninsula. On the island side, it's about a 15 minute drive to Vashon town center, with restaurants, bakeries, farmer's market, breweries and other local amenities.
