Pálína Cottage Studio

Pálína Cottage Studio is a new accommodation in the Golden Circle, well locate. There are two apartments in the house, each 20m2. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is private. In winter you can see the northern lights. It is close to all the main natural gems of South Iceland: Þingvellir, Skálholt, Gullfoss, Geysir and many more Children, infants and toddlers are not allowed. We want our guests to have peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy their time in a peaceful environment.

River House - Nátthagi

We welcome you to our river house with great view to the White River (Hvítá). The house is very spacious for your large family or a group of friends. It is close to several tourist attractions; Gullfoss (25 km), Geysir (20 km), Skálholt (10 km) so you can easily use our place as your base and visit the area to come back in the afternoon and relax in our very spacious hot tub (10 persons) or light a fire in the fire place and look out to the peaceful river. This rental is for two separate houses: Each house has 2 rooms and full bathrooms with showers so 4 rooms total for up to 9 people.. Location is on a large private land far from other houses. Outside there is geothermal hot tub always on. Fully equipped kitchen, and outside BBQ. Located on the Golden Circle near Geysir. Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter.

Romance reigns in the wonderful nature here. We breed horses in Lerkiholt. Horses and foals are in the pasture with us and can be right next to the house. Please don't give food or tauch them ;-) It is close to two swimming pools, approx. 5-10 minutes. It is also close to golf. View and short distance to see Eyjafjallajökull, Hekla, Vestmannaeyja and much more. A unique place by a lake within the Golden Circle.

Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

Surrounded by a small forest, framed by a famous fishing river which runs next to the cabin. NORTHERN LIGHTS shimmer on clear nights during the winter. There is a fully equipped kitchen, gas Barbeque, a fireplace, and a Jacuzzi with hydromassage. There are inside and outside showers and a upstairs lounge with a Smart TV incl. streaming services.
