A quiet 17 acre, ONE room cabin set on a private small lake, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Equipped with a full kitchen, a grill, 4 OUT DOOR showers, no showers in cabin. Sleeps 4, 1 QUEEN SIZE BED AND 1 PULL OUT HIDE-ABED. There is a $25/PP per day for extra guests , with prior approval by host. Pet friendly. John Pope Cabin Browntown Va. We now have Starlink

Our cabin, located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains is uniquely positioned overlooking a large open field where hawks hunt and bears leisurely stroll. Our neighbors have horses that peer over the fence (nosy) pet them but don’t feed them, please. Our cabin was built in 1865 by a Confederate soldier returning from the Civil War. Eleven children were born and raised in John Pope Cabin. Our cabin is rustic. An inviting front porch with swing is waiting for you @walnuthillcabin

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.

On the porch at Hidden Haven, we like to say, "time wasted is time well spent". The romantic vibe and modern amenities make it a prefect place for a couple's getaway.

If your looking for a quiet place in a wooded setting, this is it. Cabin has view of private 7.5 acre pond, deck and walking trail to the scenic Dragon Run, with canoe portage. You are welcome to bring your canoe/kayak. Bird watchers, wildflower enthusiasts will enjoy what the Dragon Run has to offer. If shopping or history is your interest, this cabin is only 45 min away from Williamsburg, and will give you a place to relax. This is a pet friendly cabin.
