Me and my wife fell in love with the un-earthly beauty of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and especially the area around the glacier and simply had to own our own getaway at this magical place which was voted the #1 place to visit in the wintertime (travelandleisure), and amongst Europe's 25 most interesting villages (Business Insider)

The house is 82 m2 with two bedrooms, located at a traditional Icelandic farm. The house is between the towns Stykkishólmur (20 km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km), where you can find all facilities you need. The house has superb view over mountains, sea and lava fields. This is a perfect location to discover Snæfellsnes peninsula. From here you can visit the Shark Museum in Bjarnarhöfn, go swimming in Stykkishólmur, go sailing around Breiðarfjörður or visit the national park.
