Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the next stairs is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after brand new and modern, she probably isn't 💗 No private parking, see 'other details to note' section. This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Swallows Nest, Harwood Dale

The cottage is in a rural setting on a working farm near Scarborough. It is a bungalow with two internal steps, one leading from the lounge to the dining area and a second leading to the bedrooms and it is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids). We also allow a well behaved dog at the property. There are two bedrooms, a double with en suite shower room and a twin bedroom. The property is self catering. Travel Cot,Outside dog kennel facility is available.

Off the bedroom is a en-suite. The 1st floor living area, is a spacious relaxing space with a well equipped kitchen. Free parking for 1 car. EV charging available. 45p pkw Guests must be 25+ There are multiple floors levels and various steps inside, the property isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. The Bay is a small clutch of largely whitewashed cottages and is unique. We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for mobility problems due to steps. Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Chapel Cottage is a charming, pet friendly, 18th century cottage. It sleeps 4. A short and easy walk from Robin Hood’s Bay, convenient for anywhere locally. Difficult to believe that Chapel Cottage was part of the former Methodist Chapel in the village (at least until 1900). John Wesley was reputed to have preached here in the 1790’s. A strenuous 54 paces to the village Pub and shop (depending on your leg length), its still only less than 10 minutes to the top of Robin Hood’s Bay, bank.
