Looking to leave the hustle and bustle of the city? Our Glamper is a simple place to camp for a couples get-away, small family get-away, or the weekend hunting trip....a place to enjoy Hill country sunsets , gaze at the wide open starry skies, and breathe in good ole’ country air. We are located in Rio Frio, TX just up the road from the beautiful Frio River. Close enough to town for the little things, far out enough to hear the silence. Welcome to the Nueces Canyon. This Texas Hill Country farm offers, dark skies, natural rivers and a state of mind that is only found here. On 60 acres, lots of dirt roads, and a rough rocky dry creek to explore. hummingbirds, jack rabbits, deer to keep you amused. Several clear cool swimming holes on the Nueces River just minutes away. Hot tub. Burn ban on most of time(drought) ,please ask No smoking in cabin!

Amadeo at the Frio Private getaway with pool & spa

"Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

Situated just north of Camp Wood, Texas, this historic home comfortably sleeps 12 , recently remodeled, and promises a serene retreat. A unique riverfront experience with access to the Nueces River. The heart of the house is its large deck - perfect for the stunning Texas sunsets or gathering around the firepit. We also provide kayaks for exploring, tree swings, and hammocks for ultimate relaxation.

Retreat To Mill Creek Canyon, Leakey TX

Lovely, romantic cabin nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country.. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the wrap around deck surrounded by trees and Texas mountains. Lay in the hammock and read a book, watch the birds fly by, or put on your hiking boots and explore. Enjoy your meals al fresco in nature! Only 8 minutes to the town of Leakey and the Frio River. Private, gated entrance. A great escape from everything! Note: Dog allowed with an additional fee. Clean up required.

The Cozy Cabin @ Whiskey Mountain Great Location!

My place is close to family-friendly activities, Garner state park (3 miles), Lost Maples state park, Frio river crossings, Leakey, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, Uvalde, three sisters bike roads. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night. Pets Fees billed after you book, b/c there is no option on Airbnb. The Cozy is located towards the front of our 17 acres about 75 ft from Hwy 83.

Tiny House on the Frio River

Tiny House on the Frio is a cozy get-away situated in the Frio Canyon on five acres in the spectacular Texas Hill Country and less than 100 yards walking distance to private Frio River frontage. The perfect setting for adult couples only that want to get away for a peaceful and quiet stay away from the crowds. Located five miles north of Leakey, fifteen minutes from Garner State Park, thirty-six miles away from Lost Maples State Park and 82 miles to Fredricksburg.

El Casa Vista on Twisted Sister 336

If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.
