The Barn - Central Richmond with parking

In the heart of Richmond our two floor renovated barn makes a great base for touring the Yorkshire Dales. This relaxed space stands in a courtyard off the top of Frenchgate, one of the town's best-known ancient cobbled streets. It's a peaceful spot only a few minutes' walk from the market square with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Free parking (one car). We provide you with the basics to get you started (coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter etc). Towels, shampoo and bedding also provided.

Also a great Dales bus service to access the nearby towns of Richmond & Leyburn.

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: horse riding, mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms . It is a lovely place to stay for couples, walking groups and families with kids. APRIL-OCTOBER: FULL weeks, FRIDAYs ONLY. Rest of year, shorter breaks any day .

The Old School

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.

Lupin Cottage in Gunnerside, Swaledale

Lupin Cottage is a character cottage nestled in the beautiful village of Gunnerside in Swaledale. Ceiling beams are exposed in all rooms and stone walls give the cottage it's traditional feel. There's a patio area to the front where you can sit and enjoy the views. With a large fireplace and stunning scenery over the countryside, this cottage is an ideal base to explore and enjoy all the Yorkshire Dales has to offer. Suitable for couples and families.

The End Place - A romantic hideaway for two

The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. A glass wall ensures uninterrupted views across Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as starry-night skyscapes. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.

Christmas Cottage, Gunnerside, Yorkshire Dales

Traditional Dales cottage, cosy and full of character with beams, stone fireplace and logburner. Ideal for a couple or family. Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome. Gunnerside is a picturesque huddle of grey stone cottages with a beck gurgling through the village to join the River Swale. This welcoming village offers a pub and tea room. Enjoy walks in all directions from the doorstep, through some of Swaledale’s most spectacular scenery.
