A characterful cosy cottage for two (Super King zip link or twin beds) in beautiful Arkengarthdale, the most northerly of The Yorkshire Dales, with large walk-in shower. There are stunning walks from the door, along Arkle Beck, through picturesque woods or onto open moorland. Secure cycle storage is available, the area is perfect for on and off-road cycling and we can advise guests on some great routes. A village pub, and a highly regarded hotel restaurant are a short walk away. Sorry, no pets.

The log burner creates a cosy feel in the living room while the well equipped kitchen offers everything you need for your stay.

The cottage is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes’ walk from the pretty Georgian square in the centre of Richmond, North Yorkshire. Recently fully renovated, it provides spacious, comfortable accommodation. Richmond is a historic market town with unique shops, great restaurants, tea rooms and bars. It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

The Old School

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Wonderful walks and bike trails in the local area. Beautiful views over the fields and hills within the Dales National Park. This detached house is within the boundary of our own property so we are always on hand to help in any way we can to make your stay a wonderful experience. Within walking distance of the local village which has all the basic local amenities including a local history museum.

The Garth: A Swaledale Panorama

The Garth has many walks straight from the door and family-friendly activities: mountain biking, Richmond castle, limestone caves, historic railway and lead mines. The village pub and tearooms are close by (check times). You’ll love our place, with its fantastic panoramic views from all rooms . It is a lovely place to stay for couples, walking groups and families with kids. APRIL-OCTOBER: FULL weeks, FRIDAYs ONLY. Rest of year, shorter breaks any day .

The space has been designed to flexibly and comfortably accommodate families or groups of friends. The house is luxurious but practical and especially suited to walkers and cyclists. At the rear of the house is a gravelled area and tap for washing bikes, dogs and muddy boots.

Galway house Apartment is located upstairs from The Copper Kettle Cafe in the heart of Reeth. It has easy access to the Dales from this centrally located place. The Views from the Apartment reach across Reeth Green and the window at the top of the stairs gives views over towards Fremington Edge and is the perfect place to sit, relax and read a book.
