There are a number of trails and outdoor areas to explore as well as a number of close-by amenities within a 5 minute drive including 2 ski resorts. If you really want to indulge, we are also just a 20min drive to the Thermëa spa by Nordik. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to not require a long travel commitment, this place is a great way to relax and unwind.

The property includes 5 acres of wooded land, 280ft of waterfront, 2700sq. ft. four season main cottage, an A-framed Bunkie, and a domed tent. The layout of the cottage is open and spacious, providing a generous living area with stunning views of the water all around with multi-level decks, outdoor sauna, hot tub, shower, firepit, and extra long dock.

Welcome to our Cabin in the Woods. Thank you for your interest. WE ARE BACK!!! As of April 1st, we are an authorized Short Term Rental Accomodation. Unfortunately The City of Kawartha Lakes as limited us to a maximum of 2 persons (incl. children). We are still completing some of the regulated renovations, as our front yard is still dirt after the upgraded Septic System required. We are hoping to have somewhat of a groomed yard by mid summer. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.
