This special place is in the middle of the Shawnee National making it a short drive to many favorite hiking locations Burden falls,Jackson falls,Bell smith springs, Garden of the gods, We also offer guided horseback riding into the Shawnee on our horses or u can bring your own on vacation and we have room to stable them and guide u everyday to a different location in the Shawnee to see. The cottage is on a horse farm with a large yard to play in and enjoy the stars at night around a campfire

Property includes wifi, full kitchen, laundry, deck and private parking for one. One king bed room and a twin bed room in addition to a roll out twin bed along with a 60 inch smart television. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

We allow pets for a one time fee of 50.00 per stay whether you're with us for a day or a week or longer.

The Sunshine Guest House is a bright and welcoming home with an easy to find location right outside of Mcleansboro, (6 miles from Big Red Barn& 9 miles from I64) Wi-fi is available throughout our spacious 4 bedroom and 2 baths. Our house can accommodate up to 9 people. It also includes a large deck for outside entertaining with a charcoal grill, yard games, kids toys and stocked pond.
