Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

Homestead Cottage

Enjoy tiny farmhouse life in this adorable 375 sq. foot cottage. Loaded with everything you need this little cottage is nestled privately behind some trees on our 11 acre farm. You will soon forget how close you are to town with the beautiful view from your windows and the pasture fence just steps out the back door. Whether you’re here for the wineries, amazing hiking, an SIU event (3 miles) or to visit with family, the Homestead Cottage will provide a comfortable retreat from any adventure.

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Reconnect with nature at our unique treehouse Aframe stay near ALL of the hiking. Just minutes from downtown Marion, IL. Sporting a 7ft tube slide, sleek black exterior and natural wood tones and lighting. The Blonde is small and mighty with an airy studio feel but packed with all of the necessities of a full sized home. This stay also includes its very own nature trail! Come ready to see lots of wildlife and explore Southern Illinois! Our 2 treehouses are secluded but do share a property!

LilyPad-pondside cabin, kayaks, trail, country

Great for a couple, an outdoorsman, or travelers! This cabin is located on our 20 acre property, less than 10 minutes from Rend Lake, I57 access, and public hunting land and within 1 hour of the Shawnee National Forest. Includes use of kayaks, fishing poles for the catch & release pond, and a walking trail. Bow target use available upon request. Gas grill, firepit and firewood. PLEASE NOTE: its a 12x20 studio cabin with 1 full bed and 1 twin sized foam couch sleeper. We don't allow pets.

Old Colorado Glamping Dome is nestled deep into the woods surrounded by beautiful tall pines. It is heated and cooled and has all the necessities as a typical house. We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

The rustic lakeside cabin has two loft bedrooms upstairs, one lower bedroom, amazing views of our private lake and an assortment of animals (deer, axis, fallow, elk) that roam freely on the gated property. Enjoy fishing or lounging around the lake. Plan a trip to Garden of the Gods, Jackson Falls, Tunnel Hill Trail or Shawnee National Forest finishing the evening roasting hotdogs around the fire. *No parties or events allowed during your stay. Eva’s Roost is located at Center For Lost Arts near Cobden, Illinois. Uniquely crafted rustic, zen-style cottage, designed to be close to the earth & nature. Extensive, curtainless windows facing the forest & pond allow for private views: sunrise, moonrise, forest & wildlife. Yoga mat, guitar & some art supplies. Personal outdoor space with firepit & comfy adirondack chairs. Entrance to wandering trails right outside your back door. Perfect place to retreat and renew.
