Super romantic with a huge fire pit and your own little beachy kayak launch. Vischer Ferry bike trail borders the property for biking, hiking and kayaking. Vaulted beamed ceiling and full walls of glass make for crazy views overlooking the river. Serviced by filtered river water. SO SO PEACEFUL HERE!

Overlooking beautiful Burden Lake, the gem of the Rensselaer Plateau, Hummingbird Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable, adorable vacation home. Famous for clear water and year-round fishing, Burden Lake is the largest lake in Rensselaer County. Kayaks & canoes are provided. Centrally located 20 min from Albany, 40 min from Saratoga, 30 min from the Berkshires, & a 1 mile paddle to Kay’s Pizza! See eagles, ospreys, and, yes, hummingbirds! Incredibly private with spacious property. Our lake house is great for families with kids and couples, and handicap accessible. It is great for any season (leaves, skiing, fishing, swimming). Kayaks, row boat.....and the lake!! Age requirement of at least 30 years old for guests (except kids).
