Relax by the fireplace, sit outside & watch the stars, light a fire. We provide blankets & wood. A welcome basket & a fully stocked coffee bar for the early mornings are waiting for you.

(There are currently NO animals on the farm, as this is primarily a nut tree farm.) Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps. Cooking is via charcoal grills, small outdoor kitchenette or fire.

"Far from the Madding Crowd" Cozy Cabin Retreat

Cabin Clack is a quiet, stream-side retreat bordering 1000 acres of wild trails in NY State Forest. The cabin is a historic hunting cabin from circa 1935. The cabin is good for a couple, solo adventurers, or families (with kids). We welcome pets, and they will love exploring the secluded forest and the freedom of our virtually traffic-free dead-end road. There is a spring fed pond you can swim in.

Wander in this stunning Purple Victorian adorned with vintage curiosities on 1.6 bucolic acres. Get lost in the backyard, exploring it’s many vignettes: fire pit, apple orchard, wooded areas, and many places to sit and relax. Enjoy 2400 sq ft of indoor space inclusive of a chef’s kitchen, spacious bedrooms, and a variety of seating. Walk to downtown Cobleskill in 5 minutes.
