Obiekwa Country House is located in the picturesque, quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel; with its wine estates and gourmet restaurants. It is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking an adjoining vineyard. Although it is set in peaceful, rural surroundings, It is a fifteen minute walk to the village square. The Hedge Cottage

The Hedge Cottage is a charming cottage with a private entrance, separated from the main house, located in one of South Africa's oldest towns, Riebeeck-Kasteel. This is a cozy tiny home container is indeed a tiny home, with a tiny kitchenette, two plate gas top and tiny fridge. It's nestled on a large plot, next to a lemon tree and rose garden. Our living eco pool hosts frogs and tadpoles which invites nature lovers for a cool down on hot days.

You’re now invited to enjoy this fully-equipped hideaway a short 45-minute scenic drive away from Cape Town - but a whole world apart.

Witzenberg Base Camp, to rejuvenate mind and soul

Witzenberg Base Camp is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, located on our lifestyle farm 4.5 km from Tulbagh. The camp was built with 100% recycled materials and is equipped with 12 volt solar lighting system, WIFI, USB port and on demand gas geyser. There are no plugins for electrical appliances. Kick back in peace and tranquility, surrounded by the sounds of nature and panoramic views of the magnificent Tulbagh valley. Please note the new NO PETS policy.

Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage is located in Riebeek Kasteel, in a quiet nook, with a view of the church steeple. The house is nestled behind a small olive grove of 16 trees and is a 1 minute walk to the famous stoop of the Royal Hotel. With a long veranda, harvest-spread style table, built-in braai area, veggie garden and farm-style plunge pool, the house lends itself to slow living in relaxed luxury. The cottage offers free wifi and is backed up by solar power.

Little Oak Studio

Our little loft suite is nestled in a treelined garden above the garage. The gravel road in front of our property adds to the rural atmosphere guests will experience in the quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel. Our resident pet chickens may just produce a freerange egg for our visitors!! The Theron family are well traveled and love to welcome visitors to our home. We encourage you to engage with us and our animals or just relax among the trees!!

Fever Tree Cottage

Fever Tree Cottage is a secluded one bedroom garden cottage on a private property in Riebeeck Kasteel, a mere 50 meters from the town centre. The main property is on a dirt road, overlooks a farm dam and magnificent mountain views. The cottage is private, quiet and set in a lovely tranquil bird-filled garden. It is so close to town, that you can walk anywhere. Retreat to the quiet garden cottage after a day of shopping, eating and exploring.
