Cedar Lodge in the heart of the New Forest

Cedar Lodge is a beautiful modern lodge set in an idyllic one-third acre garden on the edge of Avon Tyrrell in the New Forest. With direct forest access, the lodge is perfect for mountain biking, walking or running. The village of Bransgore is 1.5 miles away with 2 great pubs, a fish and chip shop and supermarket. The beaches of Mudeford, Christchurch and Bournemouth are all nearby and Ringwood with its pubs, shops and restaurants is only 4 miles away. The lodge has a TV with firestick.

Built in 1840 to house workers making bricks this charming extended semi-detached cottage has been lived by the same family of New Forest commoners for the last 50 years. Recently tastefully refurbished to a high standard, STRIDE Cottage is a much loved comfortable family home which maintains the character of the traditional New Forest cottage whilst offering spacious, modernised, comfortable living. The Coach House with walled garden

Our converted coach house offers a cosy corner in the busy village of Downton from which to visit the historic cathedral city of Salisbury and the open spaces of the New Forest. Parts of the property date back to 1475 with links to the Bishops of Winchester. There is plenty on offer in and around the village, with local shops, gardens, pubs, walks and bicycle rides along the River Avon. Bournemouth beaches are not far away. We welcome dogs (please see info regarding fee).
