Hi this is KimAnna You will truly enjoy the uniqueness of our hand built cottage as well as our clear star studded sky. Our solar ranch is very peaceful and has been featured in Faerie Magazine, Tiny House, Mother Earth News, Drevo & Stavby (a chec Republic Architectural Magizine) and included in several Cordwood books and dvd's by Rob Roy, Richard Flatau and others. Adventurer's delight! Very private location at a great price. We are located 3 miles east of South Fork. Take your pick from skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, ATVs, or just relaxing. Come enjoy the 360 degree mountain views at this quiet cabin nestled among pinons and cedars. Great views from new windows in front and back rooms. This updated cabin offers one bedroom with queen size bed, a loft with two twins beds, and a futon in the living room. Kitchen with essentials and bbq on the deck.

Willards Lodge-Cozy 3 Bedroom Home Near Sand Dunes

Our welcoming 3 bedroom lodge has everything you need for your San Luis Valley trip. The lodge comes with heating, AC, washer/dryer, kitchen, living room, and a private yard. Our Airbnb is within driving distance to several local restaurants, national parks (The Great Sand Dunes) and skiing (Wolf Creek). There are a considerable amount of outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, hunting, mountain biking and ATV trails. Our central location is an ideal base to explore the San Luis Valley.

The Nest

This is a cute little carriage house that was fully remodeled in 2016. It has one bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for a total of 4 guests, also a full bathroom and Kitchen. Nearby amenities are Wolf Creek Ski Area, Penitente Canyon climbing, biking and hiking, Del Norte for mtn biking and hiking, Monte Vista Crane Festival, Great Sand Dunes National Park, Hot Springs Pools, hundreds of miles of ATV/Motorcycle riding and thousands of acres of National Forest to explore!

Adventure Haus - A-Frame Cabin with Mountain Views

Welcome to the Adventure Haus- a two bedroom, two bath cabin located just outside of South Fork close to ATV trails, the Rio Grande River, and Wolf Creek Ski Area. This cabin has been designed to be your basecamp for adventure. Between the 4 decks attached to the cabin, log porch swing, and fire pit area with Adirondack Chairs, you will have no trouble finding a proper place to relax. You will also have access to the detached garage to safely store your gear out of the elements.

Downtown Monte Vista Hideaway

Our little piece of old historic Monte Vista sits almost in the center of town. Built in 1886, it has thick walls that surround you in hushed silence. Quaint, 2 bedrooms separated by a solid wood French barn door, 1-1/2 bathrooms, 1,000 sq ft. Full kitchen: glass top stove, microwave, large fridge under cabinet, dishwasher, and everything you need. Washer & Dryer in the laundry room, just off the kitchen. Private front door parking. Keypad entry on both front and back doors.

Cabin or Mountain Style Loft? You decide.

This accommodation is on the second floor (the first floor is a private garage). In a quiet neighborhood, you will be surrounded by cottonwoods. In the summer you might feel like you are in your personal tree house. In the winter, when the trees are bare, you can gaze down at nature’s artistry of branches and shadows on the snow. A wall of windows lets you overlook the historic Rio Grande River. This place is a get-a-way haven for nature lovers who want their own space.

A slice of small town life

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. Monte Vista is a small rural town.
