A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. La’l Stenkrith is a self-contained apartment with free on street parking adjacent to the beautifully scenic Stenkrith Park in the rural market town of Kirkby Stephen which lies at the head of the Eden Valley. Recently refurbished it is situated between the North Penines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is convenient for the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Pennine Way and Coast 2 Coast route, there are plenty of places to walk and explore.

The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

Braeside Studios is a detached stone built building adjacent to our family home. We have 2 purpose built, self contained studios each with private entrance door, ensuite shower room, drying cupboard, mini breakfast kitchenette (fridge, sink, kettle, toaster) and seating area. Both our rooms are clean and contemporary and focus of comfort and practicality. The garden view room has a double bed and the riverside room has a king sized bed. You are welcome to share our garden.
