Just read our reviews and you will see why there is no need to look further. This 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath Carriage House was built in 1929 and fully renovated in 2022 with all new everything! Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Super-comfortable queen beds. 3 big HDTVs. Private entrance, private deck, and plenty of free parking. Well behaved dogs are welcomed.

We are next to a >1400 acre nature preserve with 5 miles of trails. Appalachian Trail (McAfee Knob), Blue Ridge Highway, Smith Mountain Lake, James River, wineries, breweries, shopping are close by. 18 min to Roanoke College and 40 minutes to Virginia Tech. Features: hot tub, outdoor dining area, small kitchenette amenities, and smart-tv w/firestick (must use your hotspot to stream). 10 min to BR Parkway, Peaks of Otter, and Claytor Nature Center. Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door.
