This is a lovely little bungalow on the banks of the River Crouch. It is semi rural. A 5 minute walk to Althorne station and 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some some great pubs and restaurants. We allow 2 well behaved dogs. The riverside walks are fabulous. It is a a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes is roughly a 5 min drive. There are great walks and bike rides either along the sea wall or on the beach, and some fantastic seafood eateries. Mersea Island is off the coast of Essex, 9 miles southeast of Colchester, just one hour from London.
