Hiking enthusiasts will find The Pinnacles of Berea nearby as well as Boone Trail Trace, and Flat Lick Falls Trail to name just a few. Delicious meals and shopping can be conveniently found in Berea. Hot tub with fire pit & winter lake views for 4!

Our cozy getaway is located with a front porch view of Woods Creek Lake in the fall and winter. We are only a 1/2 mile from the boat ramp for fishing, kayaking, paddle board, and canoeing. Wildcat off-road is less than 4miles away for ATVs. Rockcastle river is 5 miles away for kayaks,canoes, and inner tubes for a lazy day in the water. Cumberland falls is also within 30 miles to catch a moonbow view. We recommend our guests to purchase travel insurance due to our firm cancellation policy

Catfish Cottage on Wood Creek

The Cottage sits on a hill above Wood Creek Lake with a short trail down to the lake w/trailer parking down there. This cottage sleeps 6 if you use the sofa bed. There is parking for 2 vehicles near the cottage. There is a full kitchen with appliances including a DW and a laundry area. There are 2 other similar cottages nearby so, if there is availability, we can accommodate up to 18 people. Wood Creek Lake is a beautiful fishing lake with fairly calm waters so that you can enjoy kayaking.

"River Run" on the River

River Run is located in the Daniel Boone National Forest, conveniently located 4 miles from I-75, off exit 49. This newer river home provides tranquil views of the river, as well as an abundance of wildlife. Kayak rentals and river access are located nearby. We welcome ATV enthusiasts to visit "Wildcat Adventures Off Road Park", less than 5 miles away, as well as the nature hiking trails at the historic Camp Wildcat Battlefield. This property is located on a secure, gated 2.5 acre river lot.
