Hills O'Sharon Cabin in the Woods

Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

Bass Fisherman’s Cottage on Wood Creek Lake

2 bedroom 1.5 bath cottage on Wood Creek Lake. You have a view of the lake through the trees. There is an eclectic mix of furnishings including new, vintage and antique items a full kitchen with stainless appliance including a d.w., all in a modern comfortable cottage. There is a trail down to the lake to the right of the cottage with space down there to park your trailer if needed and you can see the parking area from the cottage. The boat ramp and dock are just a short walking distance away.

Relax in the main cabin, soak in the 2-person hot tub (if available) ,or take a romantic stroll through the wooded trails. Decks, trails, and boathouse access are included.

Our cozy getaway is located with a front porch view of Woods Creek Lake in the fall and winter. We are only a 1/2 mile from the boat ramp for fishing, kayaking, paddle board, and canoeing. Wildcat off-road is less than 4miles away for ATVs. Rockcastle river is 5 miles away for kayaks,canoes, and inner tubes for a lazy day in the water. Cumberland falls is also within 30 miles to catch a moonbow view. We recommend our guests to purchase travel insurance due to our firm cancellation policy

Our home sits back off the main road, where you'll often get to see deer and turkey coming down off the mountain in the mornings or late afternoons. Unplug yourself from the busyness of the world here. The house is filled with handmade art and thoughtful details to make your stay one to remember. Snuggle up with a cup of coffee or tea and watch a movie or just enjoy the quiet in our little holler.
