Boho Rainforest Bamboo Studio - private spa fire

The Bamboo Studio at Getaways at Byfield is an open plan hexagonal wood cabin that was first used as an art studio. Escape to the rainforest - with FIVE queen size beds, the studio is designed for relaxation nestled amongst the trees, or for enjoying quality time with family in the outdoor area (with fire pit) or around the pool. We are 30 minutes from beachside Yeppoon, through the Bowenia Pine Forest and on to Byfield National Park. The cabin is self contained- full kitchen, bbq & spa.

Byfield Mountain Retreat

Byfield Mountain Retreat is an ideal place for group bookings or family occasions. Set on a ridge within 66 acres of rainforest it has views to the ocean, walking tracks through the forest, or a hammock on the verandah to chill. With large airy bedrooms and cosy living quarters it is a gorgeous place to visit. The driveway is steep and requires a high clearance vehicle. For the adventurous spirit its a real adventure. 5kms from Byfield, 40kms from Yeppoon & 80 from Rockhampton airport.

The Whitehouse, Five Rocks-Byfield National Park

Wake up in this totally off-grid beach house, and enjoy your morning coffee, with stunning ocean views. The White House is a 2 story self contained beach house, located at Five Rocks, surrounded by Byfield National Park. Please note 4x4 access only to this property. Upstairs contains 2 bedrooms and 2 sleepouts, with a wrap around verandah, to take in the ocean and hinterland views. Downstairs is the basic but well equipped kitchen and dining area, with detached shower cubicle.

Pegasus Horse Park and Farm-stay

Pegasus Horse Park is on 33 acres. The rural views from this elevated position on the side of Mount Barmoya are exceptional. Our Guests like the sunset views from the deck beside the spa. We encourage guest to walk down the lane, feed and pat horses, try the swing down near the dam and generally relax and take it all in.
