Walden Cabin Experience

Inspired by Henry David Thoreau's legendary 1845 cabin at Walden Pond, this studied replica was built over 10 months with careful attention to detail, based on communications with the museum curators at Walden Pond in Massachusetts. The cabin's beautiful mix of woods were locally harvested, the nails were blacksmithed to 1850-era specs. Recycled products were used as possible; and historical artifacts, including Thoreau's personal library while he was at Walden, help visitors step back in time.

We are a Farmhouse Retreat in Wolf Creek Acres Reidsville, Nc 27320. We are providing 4 rooms and 2 full bathrooms completed renovated. 5 fully extendable armchairs in the basement. Please when booking with us keep inconsideration that this is an older country home 🏡 that we’ve fixed up alittle but not perfect, built in 1940’s. With that being said you can enjoy our small community from Belews Lake and Hanging Rock State Park 30 minutes away . We offer downtown shopping and tubing as well . Greensboro and Winston Salem are 30 minutes away. We have plenty of space for bringing your boats / jet skis for parking to our nearest belews Lake 14 minutes away
