Crafting an Experience - Welcome to Emerald Gabel Cabin. Tucked away between the Rolla & Salem, MO area, the 12 acre woodland is a Ozark retreat awaiting the magical feel of a log cabin. Explore the region including Montauk State Park, Fugitive Beach & hidden small town gems for a day of exploring. Have a family outdoor movie night on the projector screen or sip your locally brewed coffee watching wildlife on the porch. At night, sit around the fire pit and listen to the sounds of the Ozark.

Our peaceful cabin is out in the country yet very close to town. Just 2 miles off interstate 44. Close to shopping, restaurants, Fort Leonard-wood and Missouri S&T college campus. Traveling nurses are always welcome, just 2 miles from phelps County Medical Center! We also offer three RV spots with water and electricity if you’re traveling with someone who has an RV. If you’re traveling with horses, there is a horse hotel on premise, offering stalls or Paddock for layovers.

Bathroom, full kitchen with coffee/Tea creamer, sitting and dining area. Perfect for couples, groups of two. Our authentic log cabin was built in the early 1930's and has been newly restored. Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed, antique dresser, and a fireplace. The bunkroom has one full bed, one twin bed, and a set of bunk beds. The back porch dining hall seats 12 people and has plenty of room for games and activities (we have several to choose from). There is a TV, cable, and VCR/DVD player (we have some movies too), but no internet...PERFECT! The kitchen is stocked too!

This Cabin is located 15 minutes out of town on a 300 acre cattle farm. If your looking to get away from everyday life and come to the country to relax you have found the perfect place. We are located 6 miles from two river resorts where you can swim or float the river. The amazing Mark Twain Forest is all around us if you enjoy hiking. Build a fire and enjoy your evening on the patio while escaping from your everyday life and enjoy a quiet peaceful retreat.
