Lago balneabile e dalle acque particolarmente limpide. La temperatura dell'acqua è particolarmente mite ed è possibile nuotare da fine maggio sino ad inizio Ottobre. E' ideale anche come punto di appoggio per chi volesse visitare le numerose località turistiche della zona: Orta San Giulio, il Lago Maggiore con Stresa e le isole Borromee, il lago di Mergozzo, la Valle dell' Ossola, la Valle Strona, la Valsesia e molte altre. The new Eiger Express is 25 min by train from Wilderswil Station which also offers a cogwheel train up to the Schynige Platte and a 3 min connection to Interlaken. The area offers many walking paths and hiking tracks, starting from the house.
