This unique cottage sleeps six people & is ideally placed in South-West Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way. It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

It is also within walking distance to some excellent bars and restaurants such as Smuggler's Creek Inn (4 mins) and The Gaslight Inn (3 mins), and The Surfer's Bar & Sandhouse Hotel (12 mins). Perfectly suited for couples, small families, remote workers, and solo travellers especially those into outdoor activities and water related pursuits.

My lovely bungalow is located in one of the most picturesque areas of Ireland, i.e. Donegal. This little gem is an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle, where, at night, all you can hear are the soothing waves on the beach. Rossnowlagh beach is a 5 minute walk from the house - a popular beach amongst surfers and families. On the southern side of the beach is the famous Smugglers Creek pub - a traditional Irish seaside pub with breathtaking views of the beach and surrounding areas.

Situated adjacent to the Sandhouse Hotel and Fin McCool Surf School, the unit features 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/living area, and its own private patio. We also have a second 'surfers apartment' on the ground floor below which sleeps an additional 4 guests—perfect for larger groups. In the summer, apartments are rented weekly with Saturday check-ins.
